Happy Vernal Equinox!

Greetings everyone, and a happy spring to you! This morning I have snow flurries falling outside my window... but with the daffodils continuing to bloom, I know that springtime has truly arrived. Have a wonderful day!

PS - For all my southern-hemisphere Arborealists, a Happy Autumnal Equinox to you! Autumn is my favorite season, and I hope that you all enjoy yours! Whatever the season, today marks a great celestial turning point.

  1. Happy VE/AE to you as well. I'm hoping this is the last week of cold temps before spring weather kicks in.

  2. And a glorious Ostara / Equinox to you as well! We woke to brilliant sunshine and frost on the ground. It's that balance thing -- sun and frost, warmth and cold. We are celebrating Spring Equinox here with a rousing bout of spring cleaning. :-)
Blessings to you and your beloved trees . . .

  4. I really wish I knew of a group of people who still offically celebrated the change in the seasons with pageants, ceremonies, song, and dance.

Does that make me a hippy?

I always wanted to dance around a maypole, too.

Does that make me a pagan? :)
