Happy Winter Solstice!

Happy Winter Solstice to all of us in the Northern Hemisphere, and a Happy Summer Solstice to all in the Southern Hemisphere!

This time last year I was on the road, driving across the US to my new home. I am pleased to be celebrating my first year in a new place this Saturday, having learned about so many new trees, forests, plants, and places, (and people too of course).

I am eager to share the findings of my most recent explorations of my new home. Until then, joyous celebrations to you all, however you choose to honor the season!
